I am because you are—Ubuntu. It is a fact known and only now seeing practical action through the establishment of the African Free Trade Area to initiate steps in the right direction. The fact that Africa’s success lies in coming together as one people to create enabling platforms to share our rich cultures, and trade in indigenous goods, services, skills, and talents is apparent to all now more than ever. Africa has fallen behind other continents in terms of intra-continent trade of culture and economic activities for years. We are strategically positioned as The Voice of Africa to champion the cause of bringing Africans together through shared cultures, trade, food, and art while creating a platform that gives access to Africans in the diaspora to other business owners, strategic partners, and insight from African Embassies and other organizations on how to grow their businesses beyond Europe into the African continent.

Championing African Causes

Experience Africa™ is envisioned to become a flagship diaspora event to champion the cause of African Embassies by bringing Africans together through shared culture, food, business relations, and the love for our continent. This way, we can forge a strong community that leverages the strength of collective power to drive and attract investments, collaborations, and cultural exchange.

Experience Africa 2023

The maiden conference is slated to be held on July 22, 2023, in Washington DC, precisely, American University Washington College of Law (4300 Nebraska Avenue, Nw Washington, Dc 20016). Central to the organization and focus of the first conference is wisdom from the adage, “if you want to go fast, you go alone; but if you want to go far, you go with others.” The 2023 conference is not only moving Africans but Caribbeans in the diaspora as well to come together, share culture, exchange the best of each side and promote laudable causes for both communities in the USA and beloved countries. The conference will have a mix of fun, cultural exchange, special African/Caribbean food will be served, scholarship packages to deserving students, and donations to worthy individuals and non-profits.  There will be dialogues on pertinent issues facing those home and in the diaspora. The panels to discuss the topical areas are: Diaspora Engagement Panel; African Continental Free Trade Area: Promoting an Africa of States or Uplifting the State of Africa; The African Digital Revolution & Cyber Diplomacy: Speak up! and Tourism as a Tool for Economic Growth: Lessons from the Caribbean. We anticipate hosting over 500 people from both communities, dignitaries, and representatives from the African and Caribbean Embassies, the African Union, the World Bank, business moguls, and African and Caribbean trailblazers in the diaspora, among many others. This is not an experience to miss out on. See you at the maiden event of Experience Africa. Be sure to subscribe to our newsletter to receive regular updates and follow the build-up toward the event.
