The Voice of Africa is excited to host its second annual Experience Africa event, this year in partnership with the Georgetown Africa Business Alliance, to bring you the Georgetown Experience Africa Conference. Taking place on October 5th at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, Hariri Building, the event will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and promises a full day of cultural celebration, business insights, and entertainment.

This year’s event will build on the success of last year’s Experience Africa, featuring a comedy show, which is a new and exciting addition. Attendees can look forward to an incredible lineup of cultural performances, a vibrant food festival, a stunning fashion show, embassies, vendors, and panel discussions that explore the intersection of culture, innovation, and African business.

The Georgetown Experience Africa Conference will also feature keynote addresses from Kimberly Bassett, Secretary of the District of Columbia, and Ambassador Edward Boateng, adding valuable perspectives on leadership, diplomacy, and Africa’s role in the global business landscape.

For students and professionals alike, the conference will offer a networking mixer designed to connect individuals with influential business leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators from across the African continent and the diaspora.

Ticket Pricing:

– $20 for Georgetown students (early bird)

– $25 for external students (early bird)
