At just 22 years old, Abel Samson is making waves in the world of global affairs and community empowerment. Currently pursuing his studies in global affairs at George Mason University, Abel has distinguished himself as a passionate advocate for positive change and cultural enrichment.

His journey in academia is complemented by his role as the Co-Founder of “Sabr Souls,” an NGO dedicated to assisting youth in the Northern Virginia community. Through weekly lectures, food and clothing drives, and study sessions, Sabr Souls aims to deepen the connection of young individuals with faith and community, embodying Abel’s commitment to uplifting others.

 

However, Abel’s impact extends far beyond his local community. As an intern at The Voice of Africa (TVOA), Abel plays a pivotal role in creating partnerships with organizations dedicated to fostering sustainable business growth across the African continent. His efforts are not only focused on economic development but also on promoting cultural enrichment and societal advancement. Through strategic collaborations and alliances, Abel and TVOA strive to empower communities and drive positive change across Africa.

In his role at TVOA, Abel has had the opportunity to journey alongside the CEO to prestigious events such as the Yale Africa Innovation and the John Hopkins SAIS DC event. At these events, Abel actively engaged in conducting interviews with speakers and representing TVOA as a key partner. Additionally, Abel joined TVOA for the inaugural Ambassador of Africa Mentorship Program launch with Duke Africa and Duke University, where he played a vital role in moderating the event, fostering dialogue, and sharing insights.

Beyond his contributions to TVOA, Abel is also actively involved in moderating events such as the “Navigating Ghanaian Real Estate Seminar.” In this capacity, he facilitated discussions with prominent figures such as Brittany Rose, founder of Banana Development Funds, showcasing his versatility and expertise in navigating complex topics.

 

Abel’s vision for Africa’s prosperity is rooted in collaboration and partnership.
