Rabat, Morocco — Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has introduced special discounted fares for football supporters traveling to Morocco for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN), as the host nation accelerates preparations for the continent’s biggest sporting event.
The national carrier announced the offer on Tuesday, November 25, positioning the initiative as part of its ongoing effort to support African football and strengthen regional connectivity. The 2025 tournament will run from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026, with thousands of fans expected to travel across the continent.
RAM described the fares as “very attractive,” noting that the aim is to make travel more accessible and boost stadium attendance during the month-long competition. The airline is expected to increase capacity on high-demand intra-African routes as match days approach.
The announcement comes as Morocco continues to refine logistics, hospitality, transportation, and stadium infrastructure ahead of the tournament. By reducing travel costs, RAM aims to support nationwide turnout and ensure that CAN 2025 is both a sporting and cultural showcase for African unity.
The discounted fares apply to several African routes and are available for supporters traveling during the tournament period.
