About the Amy Butler Foundation
Founded in 2016 to honor the legacy of Amy Butler a compassionate woman devoted to empowering orphans and underprivileged youth the Amy Butler Foundation remains deeply committed to nurturing young people between the ages of 9 and 22. From its beginnings in Northern Virginia, the Foundation has grown into a global movement focused on education, mentorship, life skills training, and holistic development. Through workshops, leadership development, and personal mentorship, the Foundation empowers youth to break cycles of poverty and realize their full God-given potential.
Setting the Stage for Destiny
The day began with an empowering welcome from Rev. Joseph Kangwa, Lead Pastor of New Wine Temple, Dominion Life Ministries International, who set the tone by reminding attendees that this gathering was a pivotal step on their journey to leadership and influence.

Inspirational Keynotes Ignite the Spirit
Kadmiel Van Der Puije energized the crowd with a keynote that emphasized the urgency and responsibility resting on Africa’s youth today:
“Africa does not need you someday it needs you now. You are the solution to our continent’s challenges. Own your power and lead boldly.”

Life by Design: President Ayeshia’s Transformative Mentorship Session

As President of the Amy Butler Foundation, Ayeshia Quainoo-Tefera led the conference’s centerpiece mentorship session, engaging the youth with a powerful message of intentional living and self-mastery. Drawing on the Foundation’s core pillars, she challenged every attendee to design their lives with clarity and purpose across 12 key areas including faith, education, health, relationships, and community impact.
Her session was a dynamic blend of teaching, storytelling, and interactive reflection, emphasizing:
- The critical role of mentorship as a bridge from potential to achievement.
- How writing down one’s vision serves as a roadmap for success.
- Practical steps to overcome obstacles through faith and perseverance.
- The importance of becoming “extraordinary life game changers” who transform society from the inside out.

“You don’t have to wait for permission to dream big,” Ayeshia Quainoo-Tefera told the crowd. “Your vision is valid. Your life is valuable. And your story is just beginning.”
Supported by Hellena Buabeng and Jennifer Addo, her team brought the session to life with hands-on activities, helping youth clarify their visions and commit to concrete goals.

Engaging Interactive Activities and Competitions
The afternoon burst with energy as Prophet Kadmiel led spirited competitions including dance battles, singing contests, Bible verse recitals, and musical chairs. Helena Buabeng and Jennifer Addo facilitated workshops and awarded prizes such as mentorship calls, internships, books, and certificates fueling the enthusiasm and rewarding excellence.

The conference concluded with heartfelt recognition of participation, group photos capturing the joy and unity, and a strong call for continued mentorship with the Amy Butler Foundation.
